I am trying to set up an asp blog on my website and keep getting this error when I gry to log into the blog.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x4938 Thread 0x41d0 DBC 0x3679024 Jet'.

/blog/admin/login.asp, line 42

Here is line 42
Rs.ActiveConnection = strConn

The site is a foundation account on a windows box. I did change the path from
strConn = "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; Dbq=" & Server.MapPath("../db/SimpleBlog.mdb") &";"

to

strConn = "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; Dbq=c:\websites\mysitehere\db\SimpleBlog.mdb" &";"

I am sure by now I am not an .asp user.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Shaji

Hi

I believe that foundation plan does not include ODBC support. There are two options: 1) use DNSLess-connection or 2) upgrade to Net Builder plan.

Sorry for for inconvenience..
