Don't recognize the right Encoding

I have an html page with windwos-1255 encoding
On my last hosting company (GoDaddy) and on my computer the site
is working great. you can see all the letters (It's in hebrew)
On this hosting the browser regonize it as utf-8

this is the line i wrote:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=windows-1255">

Any ideas?

Alot of times with shared servers, the default character encoding in apache will be set to utf-8 using the "AddDefaultCharset utf-8" directive. We can define this to another directive for your site. You may need an apache variable configured for your site in an htaccess file or in your apache configuration

Open a ticket with support so we can get this taken care of for you asap.
