I'm trying to network 2 computers one it Windows 98 and the main one is Windows xp The windows 98 computer can see windows xp but the windows xp can't see windows 98 |

Windows 98 is your first problem
 Microsoft doesn't even acknowledge Windows 98 anymore
Make sure you have "file and printer sharing" enabled on the Windows 98 machine, and make sure you have NetBios installed on the 98 machine as well. It's been a LONG time since working with a Windows 98 box, but this is what I can recall. |
