I'm new to MIVA. I'm adapting my client's current website to work with MIVA 5. The current site calls for clicking a product in a list shown in a right-hand frame and loading the product detail into the left-hand frame.

Is there a way to tell MIVA 5 to do this? I tracked down the element "product_list" that handles the actual display of for a list of products, but it appears to be in a compiled module.

I would also like to modify the table output to be a certain number of rows across. I'm no stranger to scripting, so if it is something I can do with MIVA Script, then that would be good to know too. But does that mean I have to create my own module to replace the product_list module?

P.S. Please no replies telling me that frames are no good, etc. That won't be helpful information, and since the MIVA admin interface uses them, it seems to be a moot point.
