Setting up Entourage for a mac is fairly straight-forward and simple. First, open Entourage.

A window may appear asking if you would like to make Entourage your default email program. Click Yes if you would like it to be your default program; otherwise click No.

Next an Entourage Setup Assistant may appear. If it does, click Cancel.

Click Tools and then Accounts.

Click New.

An Account Setup Assistant will appear.

Click Configure account manually.
In the first white box, Account name, type "Anything can go here."
In the Name box, type your name as you would like it appear to email recipients (Ex: John Doe).

In the E-mail address box, type username@yourdomain.xyz, where username is your username (Ex: jdoe).

Type your username in the Account ID box (Ex: jdoe).

In the POP server box, type mail.yourdomain.xyz.

Type in your password next Save password.

In the SMTP server box, type mail.yourdomain.xyz.

Click "Click here for advanced sending options".

Check "My Outoging mail server requires Aithentication"

Check "Use same authentication as Receiving Server"

Hit Return

Click OK

Close the Accounts window.
