Hello,
I have 2 systems at work that have been working fine on a Hub, for years. Today I decided to take these systems off of the Hub and move them to our Switch. Both systems are fairly new and their NIC's do support 100mb. So I made and tested 2 new CAT5 cables. When I plug into the Switch, the systems cannot find the network. I even get a message telling me that there may be limited or no connectivity. But, if I connect the systems to the Hub, they work fine. Is this a timing issue? Any help would be greatly apprciated.
Thanks in advance.
Vince

I've seen instances where there were bad ports on switches...are there computers plugged into the switch that you know work that you can try plugging into those ports?
