Access Database Date Syntax

I'm trying to pull a date from an access database. When I look at the database in Access, the format is like this:

10/12/1903

but when I output it via CF, I get this:

1903-10-12 00:00:00.0

does anyone know a slick way to re-format the results and make them pretty?
